The Paleo Robbie approach to sourcing items is a quality-first approach.

Each item must meet our Real Food standard before we consider using it in our Meal Plan or sell it at our Primal Grocery

What is our Real Food Standard?

To us, Real Food is something your great grand mother would recognise. Foods labels that contain zero chemical names, and meat that has been ethically raised and fed a natural diet.

For example, if we are sourcing any meat or fish items, they must be pasture-raised or free-range for meats, and wild-caught for fish. We will never sell factory farmed meats or fish. To ensure our items are what we say, we frequently run lab tests to back our words (link to lab tests here).

Our sausages and burgers do not contain breadcrumbs or biding agents. We do not inject water into our meat to increase their weight. We only sell Real Food.

When scouring everyday items such as oils, butter, coffee, veggies, bath and body and berries we ensure they are made from real ingredients only. No additives. No flavourings. No chemicals. Only food your great grandmother would recognise.

We care deeply about where our food (and yours!) comes from, and we are proud to work with only the best producers, including many small family farms. To us, the best means those who operate with respect for the environment and their employees, humane treatment of animals, rigorous quality standards, and sustainable practices.

Here are a list of our suppliers we work with:.

Songpot Organic Farm

Mr Songpot is a retired software engineer who always wanted to have his own farm where the animals would be treated well. Exclusively for PaleoRobbie he produces the best pasture-fed chicken and duck eggs.

The chickens run outdoor with near infinite space and are fed with a unique blend of red ants, termites, turmeric, gmo-free corn. The result are happy chickens and beautiful strong shell eggs.

Adams Organic

Fresh organic producer in Thailand to have acquired the Japanese organic certificate (JAS). Their organic farms are also certified by European (EU) and US (USDA) organic standards. They grow in non-contaminated soil, rely on biodiversity of the soil and use natural means of plant fertilization, soil building and pest management. They only use underground water and grow their own organic seeds. No GMO seeds are used. This results in beautiful vibrant and colorful vegetables that pack a punch in the nutrient department.

Silver Fern Farms

New Zealand is one of the few places in the world where grass-based farming can reach its true potential. This is where our farmers raise their animals - growing the finest quality meat that is grass-fed and raised naturally. In New Zealand the climate, clean air and plentiful pure water fuels year round growth of lush, green pastures.

The animals are raised year round on this pasture. It means they have been raised with the ability to wander and graze freely. The animals eat and live as they would naturally; reducing stress and promoting better animal welfare.

Silver Fern Farms

No antibiotics and no growth hormones are used. The result is beautiful red meat with less saturated fat, more vitamin A and E, more conjugated linoleic acid and omega-3 fatty acids. Not only do they live better, you also eat better.

Grand Farming

Grand farming is a project in the north of Thailand that supports the eldery. They can grow organic vegetables at their own houses. Whatever they grow will be taken by PaleoRobbie and used by their chefs on a weekly basis.

It's not a big project, but every week over 100kg of fresh organic homegrown vegetables are produced this way for a little extra income.

Ovation Lamb

Ovation lamb is born and raised in one of the most pristine places on the planet, New Zealand. It’s a natural and unpolluted environment with open pastures, fresh air and sunshine.

This impacts directly on the quality and flavour of our meat. It’s pure, healthy and a product you can trust. Ovation farmers raise their animals using best practice farm management. Their lamb is 100% grass-fed and free-range.

All lambs are raised without antibiotics, growth hormones or genetically engineered feed.

Part of the Ovation farm

Ovation lamb comes from four unique regions of New Zealand. Each area is made up of different soil structures, climate, sunlight and grass types resulting in subtle yet different flavour profiles. Whatever way you prepare it, the tenderness and natural 100% grass-fed flavour will be uncompromised.
